NAME: Catalyte’s Digital Media Apprenticeship

WHAT: Learn fundamentals of digital media management buying.

WHERE:  The first part of the apprenticeship, the development process, is 100% online. Students who successfully complete the development process will pursue the second part of the apprenticeship, the deployment duration, in Philadelphia, PA (There are other locations available around the country as well.)

PROGRAM/CLASSES: Learn audience targeting and ad optimization strategies. You will have hands-on media buying experience in leading platforms such as The Trade Desk, Google Ads and Facebook/Meta. The learning phase and deployment phase of the apprenticeship will provide you with the technical skills needed to create, manage and optimize digital ad campaigns within advertising/media platforms. Also develop important interpersonal skills like communicating with team members, giving and receiving feedback, adhering to client requests and meeting deadlines.

TIME COMMITMENT:  Development process lasts 8 weeks; Deployment duration lasts 6 months to 2 yrs.

COST:  Free! You will receive your local minimum wage for 30 hours per week for the first 8 weeks. Starting in week 9, pay will increase to $40,000/year paid hourly ($19.24), and you will receive additional benefits including paid holidays and time-off, health, vision and dental benefits.

NAME: Patient Care Tech Apprenticeship

WHAT: Learn to work collaboratively with the nurses within the unit you are assigned to provide care and treatment of patients.

WHERE:  Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Lankenau Medical Center, all in PA.

PROGRAM/CLASSES: Learn caring for patients by assisting with their daily living activities, taking vital signs, Accu-Checks, Phlebotomy, EKGs, and other nursing assistant responsibilities.

TIME COMMITMENT:  8 weeks

PROGRAM/CLASSES: Training begins with 6 months online training program. After completion of this program, there is a combination of classroom and on-the-job training.

TIME COMMITMENT:  Apprenticeship program typically takes 4 to 5 years.

COST:  Free, paid training provided as part of employment. Most apprentices make 40% or more of an average elevator technician’s salary.

REQUIREMENTS:  High school diploma. 18 years old or older. Must pass elevator aptitude test (tests candidates on basic arithmetic, reading comprehension, mechanical comprehension, and general tool knowledge).
