NAME: Patient Care Tech Apprenticeship

WHAT: Learn to work collaboratively with the nurses within the unit you are assigned to provide care and treatment of patients.

WHERE:  Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Lankenau Medical Center, all in PA.

PROGRAM/CLASSES: Learn caring for patients by assisting with their daily living activities, taking vital signs, Accu-Checks, Phlebotomy, EKGs, and other nursing assistant responsibilities.

TIME COMMITMENT:  8 weeks

COST:  Free! Also, earn $2,500 bonus upon successful completion of the program and given opportunity to pursue a part-time or full time Patient Care Tech career at several locations.

REQUIREMENTS:  High school diploma.

Arborist Apprentice

A high school diploma is all you need to get started for many fulfilling careers. Do you enjoy being outside? Do you have a love for trees and plants? If you’ve got a diploma, you’ve got options! Check out Shreiner Tree Care’s Arborist entry level Apprentice position.

NAME: Arborist Apprentice with Shreiner Tree Care

WHAT: Provide tree care, landscaping, and plant health care.

WHERE: 334 S. Henderson Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406

PROGRAM/CLASSES: Become an ISA certified arborist

TIME COMMITMENT: No time limit given

COST: Free! & get paid $18 per hr

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma, must past drug test, must have driver’s license and reliable transportation, ability to lift 50lbs, be responsible, and see the importance of coming to work on time

NOTE: Opportunity to pursue further education to become certified arborist and obtain CDL license, as well as other certifications. Also may provide assistance with relocation costs.
